During the 2-day, 1-night adventure, participants will explore two impressive caves: Hang Over, stretching approximately 3.2 kilometers in length, and the massive Hang Pygmy. While Hang Pygmy amazes visitors with its enormous chambers, Hang Over is renowned for its stunning stalactite formations, featuring cave passages reaching up to 125 meters wide and 80 meters high.

Our driver and experienced tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Phong Nha or Dong Hoi and transfer you to the Jungle Boss Operations Center. Here, you will receive a detailed briefing about the itinerary, safety procedures, and environmental conservation regulations for the expedition.

The Hang Pygmy Exploration 2 Days 1 Night adventure officially begins. A vehicle will take the group along the historic 20 Quyet Thang Road to Kilometer 24, the starting point of the trek. Before entering the forest, all necessary equipment, including safety gear, trekking shoes, and protective items, will be provided.

Begin trekking through the pristine rainforest of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The trail winds through dense jungle, crossing varied terrain and hidden pathways rarely visited by ordinary travelers.

Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the local ecosystem, the history of the region, and the traditional lifestyle of the Arem ethnic people who once lived deep within these forests. You'll also learn practical jungle survival skills used by indigenous communities.

Afternoon: Explore Hang Over Cave and Reach Hang Pygmy

Continue the adventure by descending from Doc Gio and crossing several rugged forest trails before reaching Doc Luon, a steep and challenging section of the trek.

Reach the entrance of Hang Over Cave, a spectacular 3.2-kilometer-long cave system hidden beneath the jungle. After receiving safety instructions and preparing your caving equipment, begin your underground exploration.

As natural light fades behind you, use your headlamp to navigate through the enormous cave passages. Discover impressive stalactites and towering chambers, including sections reaching up to 125 meters wide and 80 meters high. These magnificent formations create incredible opportunities for photography and exploration.

Exit Hang Over Cave and enter the giant sinkhole located between Hang Over and Hang Pygmy. This massive natural depression shelters a unique rainforest ecosystem thriving deep underground.

Cross the lush sinkhole forest and follow the safety route along the cliffside to reach the famous "Dinosaur Spine" formation. Descend approximately 10 meters into the cave system before making your way toward the main entrance of Hang Pygmy Cave.

Arrive at Hang Pygmy, the fourth-largest cave in the world. While the porter team prepares the campsite and dinner, you'll have free time to explore the cave's immense chambers and capture stunning photographs of this natural wonder.

Evening: Camping Inside Hang Pygmy
